LandlordPDF: Inspection Report · Last updated 9 August 2026
Information we collect
None. We operate no servers and no backend. The developer of LandlordPDF has no ability to access, view, or retrieve anything you enter into the app.
Information the app stores on your device
Everything you create stays in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad:
- Property addresses, unit numbers, and tenant names you type in
- Room and item condition ratings and written notes
- Photographs you capture or attach
- Landlord and tenant signatures
- Generated PDF reports
- A count of how many reports you have exported, used only to apply the free-export limit
This data is included in your normal encrypted iPhone or iPad backup, whether that backup goes to iCloud or to your computer. That backup is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. Deleting the app removes all of it from the device permanently.
Device permissions
- Camera — used only when you choose to photograph a room or item. Photos are written into the app's own storage and embedded in the reports you generate.
- Photo Library — used only when you pick an existing photo to attach. The app reads the images you select and nothing else.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition — used only while you hold the voice-note button. See below.
Voice notes and Apple's speech recognition
Dictation uses Apple's Speech framework. LandlordPDF requests on-device transcription whenever your device and language support it, in which case your voice never leaves the device. If on-device recognition is unavailable, Apple's framework may transmit the audio to Apple's servers to transcribe it, under Apple's privacy policy. We receive neither the audio nor the transcription — only the finished text is handed back to the app and saved locally. If you prefer to avoid this entirely, type your notes instead of dictating them.
Sharing reports
A generated PDF leaves your device only when you explicitly share it, and only to the destination you pick in the iOS share sheet — mail, messages, AirDrop, Files, or another app. Once shared, the report is subject to the privacy practices of whichever service you chose. We are not a party to that transfer.
Purchases
The Lifetime Unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment and tells the app only whether a valid purchase exists. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account.
Tracking, analytics, and advertising
There are none. LandlordPDF contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, and no third-party code of any kind. We do not track you across apps or websites, and there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
LandlordPDF is a business tool for property owners and managers and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no data at all, we collect none from children.
Your responsibilities as a landlord
Inspection reports typically contain a tenant's name and photographs of their home. In many jurisdictions that makes you the data controller for those records. How you store and share the PDFs you generate is your responsibility, and local landlord-tenant and data-protection law may apply.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, we do not anticipate material changes.
